For the Berlin-based gaming start-up JustPlay, our studio designed a vibrant office that captures the company’s relaxed, creative spirit while offering a refined spatial experience.
Located in a maisonette within the iconic curved glass building by Grüntuch Ernst Architekten in Monbijouplatz in the heart of
Berlin-Mitte, the workspace enjoys sweeping views over Monbijou Park and the city skyline.

Design Meets Panorama
Commissioned to redesign the entire office — and a year later a new office extension — we developed an environment that reflects JustPlay’s familiar and laid-back culture while introducing a naive, playful and coherent spatial identity.
Joyful minimalism
Our concept treats the existing architecture as a white canvas, layering geometries, colour and texture to create a minimalist yet joyful atmosphere.
The design draws inspiration from Donald Judd’s spatial clarity and Alexander Calder’s balance, resulting in a workspace that feels both composed and expressive.

The informal kitchen
The Kitchen forms the social heart of the office: a penthouse-like living space combining a bar, built-in kitchen, lounge and dining zones, all opening directly onto the surrounding terraces. This central hub anchors the daily life of the team and encourages informal gathering, collaboration and rest, in an almost shared-flat like experience.
Spatial identity goes Hybrid
To complement JustPlay's globally fast-growing team, all meeting rooms were redefined to enhanve the on-screen brand experience, through tailored colour and artwork schemes, acoustic enhancements, integrated technology and new furnishings.
